WebQuest1: Copyright and Fair Use of online resources

Introduction

As more students and teachers publish Webpages, we need to consider the resources from which we gather images, sounds, etc.  We also need to acknowledge the ownership of Intellectual Property such as the creative writings and artistic designs of the work we publish online in webpages.  In this Webquest you will discover:

·        Whether you can legally use the images, sounds, and text found online in your creative projects,

·        The purpose of Copyright

·        Whether you will have the opportunity to have work © copyrighted

·        And how to properly cite information you use from online resources
